Suresh Raina in IPL 2008         Suresh Raina is appointed by Chennai super Kings(CSK) for $5 millions of dollars for the first three seasons of the IPL to play for only Chennai super Kings. He made important contributions in the first season of the tournament to  compensate the Chennai super Kings (CSK) over losses of the in Matthew Hayden, Mike Hussey, Jacob Oram. He played a vital 'Man of the Match' in the first league in the year 2008 to give win to the Chennai super Kings (CSK), they required to qualify for the semi-finals. Ultimately the Chennai super Kings finished as the runner-up of the league with Suresh Raina 421 runs scoring most runs for Chennai super Kings (CSK)

Suresh Raina in IPL 2008           Suresh Raina found the form in the second league in the year 2009 scoring 434 runs off 14 matches, he had played at a strike rate over 140.00. He made a Out standing 98 runs off just 55 balls (losing his century due to scoring errors) against Rajastan Royals in finals at centurion in South Africa. . He was the fourth leading-run getter of the tournament in the year 2009 and second for the Chennai Super kings behind holder of Orange-cap M.Hayden. Raina also became the fifth economical bowler of the tournament, by taking 7 wickets in 14 matches in the tournament.

             Again in the third tournament in the year 2010. Suresh Raina's consistent batting throughout the series for him tem, Chennai super Kings, he became the

He also captained the Chennai Super Kings for three matches in the tournament, due to the absence of skipper M.S.Dhoni  and took some sensational catches in the field. He scored 520 runs off 16 matches in the tournament, he is the third highest-run getter of the series and the first for Chennai Super Kings. He also  awarded "best fielder" of the third season of the IPL by the BCCI ahead of the finals. He scored a vital half-century which turned the final to Chennai Super King's side, who ultimately went  to become the champions beating the Mumbai Indians in the finals of third season
          At the end of the season, Suresh Raina set the record of highest run-getter in the IPL, with scoring 421 runs in the first tournament, 434 runs in the second tournament, and 520 runs in the third tournament and also taken the most no. of catches in the IPL, that two records are still unbroken.Raina also hit the second maximum no. of sixes after the Australian cricketer Adam Gilchirst in the three editions of the Indian Premier league. He was retained by the Chennai Super Kings also for the Indian Premier league of the year 2013  along with M.vijay, Albie Morkel and captain M.S.Dhoni.

Suresh Raina in IPL 2011           In the Indian Premier league of the year 2011 too, Suresh Raina maintained his record as the leading run-scorer with 438 runs in that tournament, again being the only player to cross 400 runs in all the four seasons. His most crucial match came against the Royal Challangers Banglore in the Qualifier of the fourth season, where he played a stunning innings to get the game back to Chennai Super King's favor.

Suresh Raina in IPL 2012             struggling to find form in the initial stages of Indian Premier league of the year 2012, Suresh Raina found form in the latter stages and finished the tournament as Chennai Super King's leading run scorer, by scoring 441 runs and became the first player to  to score 400 runs in every season Indian Premier league. He scored a Out standing 73 in the finals of the tournament against Kolkata Knight Riders and M.Hussey added 116 to the score board, who scored a magnificent 86, to help his team put a big total on score board. He became the first player in the history of Indian Premier league to cross the mark of 2000 runs in the Indian Premier league.

Suresh Raina in IPL 2013          In 2013 IPL Suresh Raina scored 548 runs at a healthy average of 42.15 and strike rate of over 150.13. At the start of the season he was struggling with his form but in the later half of the tournament he regained his form. He scored his maiden ton off just 53 balls with 6 sixes and 7 fours in Indian Premier league against Kings XI Punjab. Raina scored an Outstanding 99 not out off just 52 deliveries against Sunrisers Hyderabad and helped Chennai Super Kings to score a mammoth 223 runs in that match. This was Chennai Super Kings 3rd highest total and first highest total in that season. In the 1st Qualifier of the tournament against Mumbai Indians, he along with M.Hussey pounded Mumbai Indians bowlers to reach a score of 193 for 1. He is an Sensational player for Chennai Super Kings. Thus, we come to know that, he is the King of the Indian Premier league, and God of Twenty-20.
