Suresh Raina International Cricket Carrer            Suresh Raina was made his ODI dedut on 30 july 2005 agianst Sri lanka in at the age of just 18 years, his test debut also came only five years later, against the same opposition. Raina was part of India's world cup winning team of 2011.He is very succesful in less demanding T20 format and in IPL for Chennai super kings. He has scared the most runs in IPL and he holds the record like the most runs in IPL, most catches in IPL, has hit second most sixes and has played each and every match for Chennai super kings in IPL.

CRICKET CARRER OF SURESH RAINA :

Suresh Raina International Criket Carrer            Suresh Raina decided to play cricket in the Year 2000, He moved from his city Muradnagar, Gaziabad in Uttar pradesh (near to New Delhi) to Lucknow to attend the specialist government sports college. He rose to become the captain for Uttar pradesh in domestic cricket.The U-16 came to prominence among the Indian selectors in the year 2002, when he was selected at the age of just fifteen and an half years for the U-19 tour of England, where he made the pair of half-centuriesin U-19 test matches, he tour of Srilanka later in that year with the team of U-17.He made his Ranji throphy debut for Uttar pradesh(U.P) against Assam in the year 2003 at the age of 16 years, but he didn't play the another match until the following season.In 2003, he tour of Pakistan for the U-19 Asian championship before being selected to the 2004 U-19 world cup, where he score the three consective half-centuries, including he scored 90 runs off just 38 balls.Then, he was awarded the 'Border-Gavaskar'  scholarship to train at the Australian cricket academy, and early in the year 2005, he made his First-class limited overs debut, and he played well & scored 645 runs in that season at the average of 53.75.Then, he was selected to participate in the Challengers series, early in the year 2005, after injury to Sachin tendulkar and suspension to the captain Sourav Ganguly , Suresh Raina was selected for the 'Indian oil cup' in the year 2005 in Sri lanka.

INDIA TOUR OF SRI LANKA & ZIMBABWE IN 2010

Suresh Raina Vs Sri Lanka & Zimbabwe in Tri-series in 2010           Suresh Raina  captained the India team in the Tri-series against Sri lanka & Zimbabwe in the year 2010 in Zimbabwe, all the first-choice players were rested from the tournament. India lost the first under the captaincy against Zimbabwe by 6 wickets, and India won the second match against Srilanka,but Indians lost remaining two matches and not qualify for semi-finals and didn't make final.

           Suresh Raina was then, brought into the test squad of India for the tour of Srilanka in july & august in the year 2010. He made his test debut in the second test after Yuvraj singh was ill. Then, Srilanka made 642/4 and India were in trouble at 241/4, when Suresh Raina came to join the Sachin Tendulkar. Suresh Raina went on to reach a century on debut as the pair put on a the double century partnership. Then, Yuvraj singh recovered in time for the third test, but the selecters opted to retain Suresh Raina. However, poor from throughout, he scored a half century against Australia at Mohali, & a failure to make any impact on the Centurion with South Africa won by an innings. Then, he was in favour of rookie Cheteshwar Pujara for the remainder of series, in which battled back to draw the series by, 1-1

CRICKET WORLD CUP IN 2011

Suresh Raina Holding world cup in 2011           Suresh Raina was on the for first-half of the Cricket World Cup in 2011 as the Captain M.S.Dhoni went with the in-form of Yusuf pathan. This was remained so until the group game against West indies, which he started due to an injury to Vi0render Sehwag. He started against defending Champions Australia in the quarter-finals of the World Cup, as M.S.Dhoni made a strategic change, Omitting Yusuf pathan in the favour Suresh Raina. Suresh Raina responded assisting Yuvraj singh in a successful run chase through high pressure, making 34 runs off just 28 balls to carry India to victory, inthe semi-final against Pakistan, he batted with tailenders, and he scored unbeaten 36 runs without, which India would have been hard pressured to bowl Pakistan out, as Indian bowlers ultimately did. He also fielded very well in this match, by taking Younis khan dismissal in the Yuvraj singh's over. After that, he fielded very well in final also against Srilanka by taking a simple catch. 


 CAPTAINCY & INDIA TOUR OF WEST INDIES IN 2011

           India toured West indies in the year 2011 after winning World Cup with the Captain M.S.Dhoni was rested and the vice-captain Virender Sehwag was injured. So, Gautam Gambhir was named for the One dayers and T20's with Suresh Raina as his deputy. But due to the injury to Gautam Gambhir was ruled out with the Suresh Raina with Harbajan singh as his deputy. India won the series, but Suresh Raina
           avereged at just 16.4. But, inthe test matches he scored 232 runs at the average of 46.4 by scoring crucial fifties in each match against West indies.

INDIA TOUR OF ENGLAND IN 2011

Suresh Raina Vs England in 2013            Suresh Raina was selected for the tour of England in july, 2011. There was a lot of debute on who should play the first test at Lord's in England, Suresh Raina and Yuvraj singh. But he shines against the England in the practise match and scored a century, sealed a place for him to play in eleven. He scored a half-century in the first test against England at Lord's in England, he managed only 27 runs in seven innings. He struggled at the short bowling and in final test, he was out for a 29-ball duck, that is longest in India's test history
           Suresh Raina running through a poor form in the test series especially in the last match against England at Lord's in England made some impact in the five (5) match ODI series through the team not able to win at all. He top-scored in a rain-effected the match at the Lord's in England, scoring a commendable 84 runs off just 75 balls.

INDIA TOUR OF SRILANKA IN 2012

Suresh Raina Vs Sri Lanka in 2012           In the first ODI in Srilanka, Suresh Raina scored a half-century in just 45 balls, this made India to reach 314 in first ODI. They eventually won the match by 21 runs on 21 july in the year 2012
           In the second ODI, he was out for only 1 run, but he came back strongerin the third ODI, he scored unbelivable  75 runs in just 45 balls, this made India to win the third ODI with 5 wickets in hand and he also won the 'man of the match' award for his good performence in that match, Gautham Gambhir too scored a century in that match.
           He continued his good form in the fourth ODI as he score his third half-century in that series and helped India to beat Srilanka by 6 wickets by scoring out standing 58 runs with Irfan pathan. 
           He out for without scoring runs in the last ODI of the series
           After the tour of Srilanka in Srilanka, When the England came to India to play the five (5) match ODI series, he was gave away his spot to Yuvraj singh, who came back after suffering from cancer. Then, he came to the grease to bat at No.5 position.

 INDIA TOUR OF ENGLAND IN 2013

Suresh Raina got Man of the series Vs England in 2013          Suresh Raina has registered strong performences in the series, India won the series by 3-2. He scored 277 runs in that series with an average of 92.33 by scoring four half-centuries, but India won only two matches of them. He also complete his 4000 ODI runs in international carrer in that series, and he became the 13th batsman to cross 4000 ODI runs in international in just 159th ODI match, and he got the 'first man of the series' award in One day international (ODI) format. He also joined to the ICC top-10 batsman for first time in his international carrer after that series. He scored outstanding 50 runs in first ODI, 55 runs in second ODI, he didn't not bat in third ODI, 89 runs in fourth ODI, 83 runs in fifth ODI. 

INDIA TOUR OF SRILANKA & WEST INDIES IN 2013

Suresh Raina Vs Sri Lanka & West indies in Tri-series in 2013Suresh Raina played averagely in this series by scoring just 119 runs in 7 matches at the average of just 17. The Indian captain M.S.Dhoni was injured. So, Virat Kohli is named captain in this series due to injury to M.S.Dhoni. India made to the final and won the series. 

INDIA TOUR OF ZIMBABWE IN 2013

Suresh Raina Vs Zimbabwe in 2013 Suresh Raina played well in the series, Virat Kohli is the named captain in the series, due to injury to M.S.Dhoni. He scored half-century in the last match in the series, he scored 63 runs in the last match. India won the series by 5-0.
   

INDIA TOUR OF WEST INDIES IN 2013

Suresh Raina Vs West indies in 2013Suresh Raina is not selected to the test squad for India against West indies. He selected to the ODI squad for India. M.S.Dhoni came back after from injury.Suresh Raina came stronger in bowling, he bowled well in first ODI, by taking 3 wicket for just 34 runs in 10 overs with 1 maiden over, he was the highest wicket taker in that match by less economy rate. India wonthe series by 2-1. 

INDIA TOUR OF SOUTH AFRICA IN 2013 

Suresh Raina Vs South Africa in 2013Suresh Raina played in this series. He scored 50 in the series, at the average of 25 runs in a match, he scored 14 runs in the first ODI of the series,  he scored 34 runs in the second ODI of the series, the third ODI of the series is     abandoned due to rain, he 6 overs in the second ODI at  the economic rate of just 5.33 runs per an over.
